IL-2 Sturmovik and VISTA Win 7 Operating systems

The Ubisoft IL-!Sturmovik folder needs to go in your (x86) program files it is the nomenclature for programs running in 64 bit operating system
Check C drive, program files, there will be a (x86) folder. That is where your Ubisoft folder should go.
